Laughter

The late Norman Cousins was well-known as a magazine editor before he became ill with an incurable form of arthritis. He then became world-famous for curing himself with massive doses of vitamin C and uproarious laughter from watching old Marx Brothers comedy movies. He found that ten minutes of belly laughs provided him with two hours of pain-free sleep.

Do you make a practice of laughing long and loud? It might be a healthy idea. Proverbs 17:22 says that “a merry heart does good, like medicine.” Look for an edifying reason to laugh today and let ‘er rip!
