If you could have any superpower, what would you pick? Flying? Super strength? Invisibility? Those would all be pretty cool! But did you know that Christians have an even BETTER superpower? It’s called PRAYER!

Think about it: Prayer means you can talk directly to the God who created the whole universe anytime you want! You don’t have to make an appointment. You don’t have to wait in line. You don’t have to wonder if He’s too busy for you. The Bible says we can come “boldly” to God—that means confidently, not scared or worried!

Some people think, “But I’m not good enough to talk to God. I messed up this week. I got in trouble. I said mean things.” Here’s the amazing truth: You CAN come to God anytime because of Jesus! Jesus made it possible for us to walk right into God’s presence. It’s like Jesus opened the door to the King’s throne room and said, “Come on in! You’re welcome here!”

God isn’t like a mean teacher who makes you nervous or a friend who sometimes doesn’t want to talk to you. He’s like the best parent ever who always wants to hear from you! He wants to help you with your homework, your friendships, your worries, your fears—everything!

Don’t be afraid to pray about ANYTHING. God cares about every single thing that matters to you!

Action Step: Try this prayer challenge today! Talk to God three different times about three different things. Your prayers don’t have to be long or fancy. They can be super simple like “God, help me with this math test,” “Thank You for my lunch,” or “Please help my friend who’s sad.” Prayer is just talking to God like He’s your best friend—because He is! At the end of the day, think about how it felt to talk to God throughout the day. Maybe you’ll want to make it a habit!
