Handle It Like Hezekiah
He trusted in the Lord God of Israel, so that after him was none like him among all the kings of Judah. 2 Kings 18:5
Have you ever had one of those terrible days where everything seems to go wrong at the same time? When problems pile up, it can feel really overwhelming!
Have you ever heard of King Hezekiah? He had a day like that (actually, it was more than a day). His whole country was being attacked by a huge enemy army, the Assyrians. And if that wasn’t bad enough, then Hezekiah got so sick that he was going to die. Talk about a big pile of problems!
So what did Hezekiah do? Did he panic? Did he give up? No way! The Bible says, “He trusted in the Lord.” Even when things looked impossible, Hezekiah turned to God. He prayed. He believed that God was bigger than his problems. And you know what? God helped him! The enemy army left, and Hezekiah got better!
Remember, no matter how many problems you’re facing at once (even if it feels like everything is going wrong), God is still bigger. He can take care of all of it! When problems pile up, handle it like Hezekiah—trust in the Lord!
Take Action: If you’re facing a problem right now (or more than one!), write each problem on a piece of paper. Then fold the papers up and put them in a jar or box. As you do it, pray: “God, I’m giving these problems to You. I trust You to help me!” Leave them there as a reminder that God’s got this!

PARTNER WITH us

As a father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, the importance of family has always been a core value in my life. I have been a pastor for decades, watching families grow and generation after generation come up in faith. That is why Bible Strong Kids is so important to me. What better legacy to leave for our children and grandchildren than to raise them up in faith, strengthening them for the journey ahead all the way into adulthood?
I hope you will join us in this endeavor to create the next generation of Bible Strong Kids—children who know their worth in God’s eyes and are equipped to shine His light in an increasingly dark world.
