What are you good at? Maybe it’s sports, music, drawing, or math. Maybe you’re super kind, really funny, or a great listener. Did you know God gave you those abilities for a reason?

The Bible says that God gives you at least one special “spiritual gift” to use for Him! These gifts include things like teaching, helping, encouraging, leading, giving, and showing mercy. Every gift is important, and every Christian has at least one!

Think of the church like a human body. Your body has lots of different parts (eyes, ears, hands, feet, a heart, lungs), and each part has a job to do. Your eye can’t say, “I don’t need the hand!” And your foot can’t say, “I wish I was an ear!” Every part is needed for the body to work right!

That’s how it is with God’s people! Some Christians are gifted at teaching. Some are gifted at helping behind the scenes. Some are gifted at encouraging others. Some are gifted at leading. And all of these gifts are needed for the church to do what God wants it to do—share Jesus with the world!

So what’s your gift? Maybe you already know. Maybe you’re still figuring it out. Either way, God has given you something special to use for His Kingdom!

Think About It: What do you think your spiritual gift might be? Ask a parent, a pastor, or a Sunday school teacher to help you figure it out. Then look for ways to use your gift! When you use what God gave you, amazing things can happen!
